Sensations during the treatment are an individual matter. Most clients compare it to a brief pinch or a warm sting. To minimize discomfort, we use topical numbing, and a relaxed atmosphere (with our projector!) helps you focus on something pleasant instead.

Electrolysis is a process. Because hair grows in different phases, a course of treatments is needed to remove all the active follicles. Usually the first clear results are visible after 2–3 visits, and the total length of therapy depends on the body area and your hormonal balance.

The most important thing is to let the hair grow to at least 2–5 mm (so it lightly pokes through the skin). Stop waxing or sugaring 3 weeks before your visit. Remember to stay hydrated — drink plenty of water the day before your treatment, which improves current conductivity and the method’s effectiveness.

Yes! That’s a huge advantage electrolysis has over laser. The method works directly on the hair follicle, so pigment color doesn’t matter. We effectively remove blonde, red, and gray hair, as well as fine facial vellus hair.

The main contraindications are a pacemaker, pregnancy, epilepsy, active skin inflammation at the treatment site, and unregulated diabetes. We go through the full list and a medical interview during your free consultation.

Right after the treatment there may be slight redness or perifollicular swelling, which usually disappears within a few hours to a few days. We give you detailed home-care instructions so the healing process goes as quickly as possible.
